When facial imbalance is related to a “weak” chin, one solution is to add a small implant that is placed to fit the point of the jaw. Different shapes and sizes are available so the resulting appearance is very natural. The implant is stable as it is placed in a pocket made under the muscle. Most people become so used to the feel and look that they often say they forget the implant is even there.
If the chin is too big it can be reduced by removing prominent bone or soft tissue.
